ROM 2026 Announcement

As we prepare for the 2026 Rebound Obsolescence Management event hosted by Rebound Electronics, it is remarkable to reflect on how far this initiative has come in such a short time. With 2026 marking our second ROM event, the momentum and enthusiasm already surrounding it shows how important deeper collaboration has become across our industry.

What began as a focused forum on Obsolescence has quickly grown into a wider electronics component supply event that people are genuinely excited about. This year, we are building on that progress once again.

Our theme for 2026, Accelerated Lifecycles Due to Rapid Innovation, represents the reality we are all facing. Technology is developing at an unprecedented pace, and component lifecycles are shortening just as quickly. For anyone involved in global sourcing, supply chain continuity or long-term planning, understanding and adapting to this shift has become essential.

ROM 2026 will therefore offer a broader range of expert speakers and more in-depth sessions focused on the strategies and tools needed to stay ahead. A key area of focus will be AI in the supply chain, viewed not as a distant idea but as a practical, powerful capability already changing how we forecast demand, manage risk, and secure inventory.

We will explore how AI is shaping the future of the electronics industry, from accelerating design cycles to transforming procurement and enabling smarter, faster decision-making.

The event is already becoming an essential platform for leaders across all sectors affected by Obsolescence. Our headline speaker, to be announced soon, will add even greater depth to discussions about the future of obsolescence management.

I invite you to join us at ROM 2026, which is more than an event; it is a growing community committed to building resilient, future-ready supply chains.
